"Thoughts Of You" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
Refreshed by the morning sun.. When stars have not yet disappeared And the sky's a mixture of them both Then distant thunder, we will hear So far away, my heart does long To hear the sounds of you.... The many stars form rainbows, bright.. In every single colored hue... You stand by your rocks of gold Lost and alone like a wounded dove You are too gentle to live among the wolves You need a strong woman's love Protect me from this savage world Let me lie safely upon your chest For I, too seek a gentle one..... In you I have... my only rest.... I dream of nature's flowers and grass I search for beauty in the sky I search for truth coming from you When I look into your crystal eyes... I wonder if you were made from the moon And If I were made from the sun We would co- exist together then And merge our two souls into one My warrior deep..my warrior strong Come out of your prisoner's lair For this woman loves you more than life Come be with your maiden, fair.
