Their hit recordings started in 1957 The group consisted of Margo Sylvia...as lead singer, her husband, John Sylvia, Bass Gilbert Lopez, Margo's brother, then Charlotte Davis who was Margo's cousin. I wanted to make a birthday page So here it is, All music is copyrighted, and if you would like to sign my guestbook for my birthday or in appreciation for the page Please do so. Now.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. I was born on October 27, 1942 and Happy to be alive....and to have lived through that era. God Bless all of my supporters. |
"Beside Him" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
He is the one who lives...in my dreams.. Each night, I dream of one man... He always steals my heart away.. And we always walk, hand in hand... We talk about life, and falling in love.. These dreams also haunt me, each day.. He holds me close, and whispers a song.. Yet, how do I know he will stay? I watch him dancing, all by himself.. With all of the lights turned down low.. I whisper to God, that I love him, so.. But how can I let him know?...... When I fall in love, so deep and so true The price that I pay is high.. If I have to choose between love and death I hope that I won't have to die... So this birthday that's mine, just for today.. I'll make a wish as the candles grow dim I'll blow out the candles, one by one.. And I'll wish...to be beside him.... written by Susan Jane Kahon Birthday Girl Oct. 27 ,5:41pm ICYU Recovered: Jan. 28th, 2024 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Actve! |
