Don't you know, I celebrate tears A lonely yearning for what cannot be Passionately weeping, for vanished years I let them fall down, foolishly Living in this massive flow of time Living for the moment, I am free.. Deep beneath my ritual ballet I lose myself in silent ecstacy Yielding to the descent of this day Climbing through the shadows of night My tears fall cold and shamelessly As all my anxieties take flight Cleansing my soul with the salty tears.. Falling down my warm and tender face... I try to embrace the love that's lost By revisiting a happier time and place I'm open to the grace of my eyes and ears And I remember that the earth's a single sea Replenishing waters through my tears Redeeming it's value, naturally Oh.. my tender teardrops spill in vain As I renew the journey of living I sink into a dry and dusty plain No more tears, now..can I be giving.. Truth is a stone that breaks the heart But darkness isn't always a lonely flame Through tears I am freed of pain And my dying dreams..are reborn again written by Susan Jane Kahon December 5 2002 ICU 8:23 pm Recovered: Sept. 15th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
