You used to send me roses... On the days I felt so blue.... The roses made me come alive.. And reminded me of you Love, blossomed through the roses Through summer, spring, and fall... But the winter roses, frosty white I loved them most of all The bouquet of love you sent me In the vase of red and gold Those roses said "I Love You" With their petals, bright and bold.. But distance hurts, my heart is frail... And every rose I've saved and pressed Each rose, a loving moment spent.. With you, my heart is blessed As winter comes, and autumn fades The roses come so scarcely now But you always send some words of love It's what your heart still does allow Although I see no shade of roses I've kept the words of love you've sent Sometimes It seems I'm just a shadow, A fragile flower, slightly bent Your warmth holds us together ..now And deep inside a rose still glows Just a piece of your heart, satisfies When the frost of time does blow I Love you written by Susan Jane Kahon November 23 2002 8:23pm ICU!!!!
