| I am planning on doing a few versions of "Blue Christmas" but this one I liked because my daughter Jane is a huge Sheryl Crowe fan..and I like her also. I like the funky arrangement because Sheryl was raised in a family of musicians and she can play almost any instrument there is. | I want you, this Christmas season I'm searching on a cold wIntry night I'm determined to find you, my darling... Even though, you are far out of sight I call you and you cannot hear me I reach out...and no one is there This distance...thats so far between us Makes my heart fill up with despair.. I revel in my strong need for you And as snowflakes fall in the morning mist Oh!!It's only you I want this Christmas.. I want to hold the one that I miss... I'll ask Santa if he'll listen If he will hear this grown up's desire... You're on my wish list this year I want you beside me, here by the fire.... Just open your heart, to love me... Open your eyes...look around and you'll see That while I am missing you, Darling... Perhaps, you, too...are missing me.. I wish for your love this Christmas.. And long for your sweet loving ways..
