"In The Essence Of This Time" |
Written By Susan Jane Kahon |
Feeling that I know you... My dreams in life, repeat.. As thoughts of you run rampant Love, never having been, discreet.. Yet my heart, that's put on paper.. Always wonders where you've been.. And I look back to the past, As I pick up my faithful pen.... The words are echoes of a love.. That no mortal can deny We've seen our love span time.. And we've loved well...you and I.. Just because you're there.. In each and every written word Means, I've noticed you so much.. You ought to know you've been observed... Every little thing about you Like your mask of sensitivity.. I've captured in my poets way For every curious soul to see.. So when you look out the window As the spring rain softly falls.. My reflections of you, in my words.. You surely should recall.... Yet, there's not a single sound made.. In the world of poet's rhyme.. And all our love is captured... In the essence of this time...
