"Searching For You" |
From The Poetry Collection of susan Jane Kahon |
I've traveled a weary road, for so many years I've taken many wrong turns, cried so many tears To try to get to you, I've opened every door When I didn't find you, I began to search some more You're worth more to me, than silver or gold You are the meaning, in my world that will unfold I want to know, where you end and you begin I want to be so close, that our passion is a sin I look for your eyes, in every colored place I look and see your soul, wrapped in my embrace You are so special, I take not your name in vain Oh, let me be the love that you'll always want again... Just pierce me with those eyes, open up my heart Make the passion flow, let the healing start It's you and only you, that my body seeks And when I find you, my soul will reach it's peak To get to you, I'll move the land and sea I'd heighten all my senses, just to have you for me I'd want all the angels, to know the reason why Nothing else, but you could create such a high Your colors pale, and I see in black and white That you are the one, the only one in sight So I'll travel my path, make you my destiny And very soon, my darling, in my arms you'll be written by Susan Jane Kahon August 8 2002 ICYU 8:54pm Recovered: Dec. 19th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
