"Throughout The Seasons"
Sung By Roger Whittaker

From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon
Flowers bloom in early spring..
It's then, new love..means everything
Nothng makes the spirit rise
Like the visons I see, in your eyes...

Hope is renewed, for new things to come
Now, spring is alive, and I know you are the one..
Sadness disappears,and happiness reigns
You take away darkness and the sun shines, again

In summer, the sun, casts gold in your hair..
And I feel your love, burning bright in the air
The season's so beautiful, and our freedom's so right
You're all that I need to hold me tonight

We love deeply by night, play during the day..
No one can take these feelings, away...
And you stand by me, through summer's sweet season
Giving me joy, for one simple reason..

That reason is love, stolen moments to borrow
To take us into autumn, as it comes in tomorrow..
When leaves will fall, and we will embrace
The cold air coming, the night winds to chase

As summer leaves, fall comes upon us
Cooling the flames with the first chilling frost
Yet we still love on, clinging to our lives
Knowing that soon, winter will rise

I will have you with me in deep winter, too..
For when the snow falls. our love will stay true
Our happiness knows no reason or pain
Even when winter's frost, comes hard, again

For I remember, the look in your eyes
When we first loved, 'twas the sweetest surprise
The depths of our love, is destined to last
Through each fleeting season, and times that have passed.

Our love never dies..even when we're apart
For we find a way, to a reachable heart
Winter, Autumn.Summer, and fall
We've weathered the storms, and loved through them all.
