| "Straight To His Heart" |
| Pretty woman speaks... Silent words, far away Although he cannot hear her voice She's allowed to have her say... Spoken straight to his heart For the time when they'll be meeting She makes a grown man cry With her love, however fleeting.. She's made his dreams sweet for him... Here in the shadows as she's lying.. In this neverworld , she knows now.. He'll soon be softly crying She meets him in her dreams And she floods the land with water As she cries herself a river Her approach, now getting softer.. She knows he stays away .. In the silence of her mind, then... But the evening brings such passion It's then.. that she will find him... And she can feel his heartbeat From the miles that surround them.. The sighs she sends to greet him He can hear them all around him.. And he counts the blessed evenings Wondering if she can ever really know How deeply he does love her Even though he chose to go.... It makes it harder, now to find her.. While the wind is softly blowing But he'll keep his vow to seek her Even though his tears are flowing He'll go down by the river now With the prayers of his soul bare...
