"MORNING HAS BROKEN" |
Traditional Love Songs |
SUSAN'S POETRY IN MOTION.COM |
This song is the version sung by Neil Diamond.I particularly like this version, and many people have sung this song..and I prefer this version above them all. |
My poem is about hours of love ...from the morning hours to the afternoon hours to the nighttme hours..How morning can come softly..and the evening can come swiftly and the afternoon brings it's own special loving time. |
No chains upon your love or heart A new beginning to an anchient start As the morning breaks The stars above Disappear..and bring the sun's bright love Morning comes softly, sunshine in my face Please don't disturb our lover's embrace Out of our cloudy thoughts we rise Morning mist, in both our eyes Nuzzling of our hands, our arms entwined This morning light is so unkind The moonlight is gone, the world awaits For entry to enchanted gates We smile and look to afternoon Morning has it's time done soon But first we unlock our tangled bliss Taking time for another kiss Night will come, and all too fast We knew this day it would not last Love unchained, brought to my rest Throughout our sleep. .it will be blessed Then once again, when night is near I'll lay and whisper in your ear Another day comes to an end Here we are still..lovers and friends written by Susan Jane Kahon August 6 2002 ICU!!!!
