"My Valentine" |
From the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
The barest whisper of your love Sends my soul to heights I've never known before Your laughter spins my head around And my mind keeps asking you for more Please kiss my heart, and not my lips Dare I ask for your breath upon my skin? Your touch is like an earthquake's pulse Love, like this, becomes the greatest sin.. You swallow me whole and I'm afire With sensations of sweet body rush I've had to miss you every day For the skies are empty, without us Your tender gaze, renews all hurt of hurts And I tremble at your touch of hand You see all of me, each detailed thing, As if I were a grain of sand My heart, it sings!!The sweetest melody 'Neath winter's cloak of snow and cold A fire burns to meet to melt the ice Together, darling, we'll grow old From winter's slumber, I'll awake For in Spring, you will be mine Breathless passions will fill our nights My true and faithful, valentine.. written by Susan J.
