"Baby Face" |
Born Richard Wayne Penniman in Macon, Georgia in 1935..the third of twelve children, flamboyant rock star Little Richard first became involved with music as a child, singing in his church choir and at home. At age 16 Richard won a talent contest and got to release two R&B singles via RCA Records. In 1955 a friend suggested that Little Richard send a demo tape to the small LA based label...Specialty Records. The tape promoted the label to bring Richard in for a recording session. It produced the song "Tutti Frutti", Richard's first chart hit. In late 1957 Richard retired abruptly from music to attend Bible College, then he recorded a bunch of Gospel cuts, then returned to rock and roll with a landmark tour of Great Britain. Here tonight is a cute song, and cute graphics with loads of color and imagination. Please enjoy..."Baby Face" by Little Richard. |
"Do You Know" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
Do you know? How often I see your face? In visions, in the night, Causing my heart to race? And all of the love words I've said Are dreams that lie far ahead Do you know? Just how you've set my heart aglow? And how just the memory of your face Makes me really miss you so? And all of my thoughts deeply hidden Come from passions sometimes forbidden... Do you know? Just how often I return To a different place in time? Reliving the moment we've met When I was determined to make you mine? And I recall all the places we've been Each time I gaze at your face once again Do you know? How I love you so? In every essence of celestial space The stars all capture, your face.. And the angels cry out from the heavens Celebrating the love we've been given Written By Susan Jane Kahon March 29 2004 ICYU GOD BLESS !!!!! 9:11pm Recovered: Sept. 11th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
