"Promises To Keep" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
I sleep, knowing the promises, I keep Will not be misunderstood... Moonlit dreams and fantasies I'd give them to you, if I could Like a song..an unforgettable melody A song, I ache to softly sing You are the world of joy to me What more can the future bring? Quietly I memorize your face... In dreams and quiet sleep of night I watch you as you slumber Illuminated by moon's light I feel the breeze against me, now... As your breath makes me exist Your skin pressed..hot, against me I feel my entire body kissed... I know all that one could want.. You have offered me with gladness.. You opened up your soul to me And I embraced your sadness.... Without looking, I see your eyes And I hope you know I understand There's no one who's quite touched my heart As my humble, simple man... Stars shine softly, for tonight Moonlight becomes you, as you rest The illusion that is you, my love.. Lies closely to my breast.. Filled with love, I am...right now And blessed I am this very day The sound of your heart..one, with mine I'm right here, where I want to stay written by Susan Jane Kahon January 7 2003 ICU 8:51pm Recovered: Sept. 18th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
