"Dance Me To The End Of Love" |
By Leonard Cohen |
Susan's Poetry In Motion |
This is an unusual song, about love being a dance, dancing through the stages of love. It's unusual. I do like it and it is appropriate for Spring, when new beginnings grow.. Please enjoy the graphics and the poetry. By Leonard Cohen |
"If Love Were Fair" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
If love were fair, I'd take the chance To live love well...make it a dance.. A love, where nothing has a fault Where only hearts alive, will waltz.. If I were falling into love.. I'd dance along the lonely sea.... Within this fantasy, I'd dream.. And ask my love to find me... And love will be a slow step.. With arms and hearts entwined.. For I will only dance with love If he chooses to be mine.. Within the confines of my mind.. My love is dancing free with me.. So softly does he touch my heart With sure and safe simplicity.. This dance of love I dream of Is now what I am seeing So I close my eyes and gently sway And dream love, into being.. Come Dance with me In ecstacy... written by Susan Jane Kahon March 12 2003 9:46pm ICYU Recovered: Sept. 22nd, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
