"God Bless America"
"God Bless America" sung by LeAnn Rimes
Margaret LeAnn Rimes was born on August 38, 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi. Her father played the guitar on a part time basis, and under his influence, Rimes started singing and tap dancing by the age of two. She went on to win a talent contest by the age of five. At age six, her family moved to Garland, Texas where she was raised. things really picked up for Rimes in Dallas, she sang "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Dallas Cowboys games and at the National Cutting Horse Championships in Fort Worth. While on holiday, record executive Mike Curb heard Rimes' demo tape and immediately signed her to a contract with his nationally distributed  label. In her debut release she sang a duet with Eddy Arnold of his hit "Cattle call", and reworked an old version of "Blue". LeAnn is really famous world wide, her crystal clear vocals lend a maturity to her far beyond her age. Please enjoy this Fourth of July and Patriotic page.
"Our Nation's Flag"
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon
I see our nation's flag fly high...
Among the clearest blue of sky...
It's ripples, waves, are flowing free...
Proclaiming our state of liberty...

It thrills my soul as time does pass...
I cheer our flag, my heart pumps fast...
A flag that is our nation's might...
It pledges safety, day and night...

We're brotherhood of heart and hand...
As our flag floats across the land...
Oh! Flag of freedom, in the breeze!!!
Fly swiftly over land,and seas...

America, land of the brave...
To no one are we now, a slave...
Freedom rings, and freedom calls...
There's liberty from terror's walls...

Our flag's a strong and watchful arm
It guards our country from all harm...
A symbol of this land, that's free...
It's colors, always, true...to Thee...
