Born March 26, 1968, in Luttrell, Tennessee, USA, this handsome country singer-songwriter specializing in heartfelt ballads, Kenney Chesney has earned a reputation as a genial and hard-working traditional artist. In 1994, he made his debut for Capricorn Records with a self-titled collection that established him as a competent writer, though one lacking in the unique qualities needed to make a bigger impression on the marketplace. Both "All I Need To Know: and "Me And You",his two subsequent albums for BNA Records in the mid-nineties, revealed steady progression, with the title track of the latter album performing well on country radio.
He accompanied his release with a major nationwide tour in support of country rock veterans Alabama, and since then, his following has continued to build, Kenney released his new Christmas album this year, and here is one of the songs from that collection, called "All I Want For Christmas Is A Real Good Tan".
