Keith Urban was born in New Zealand, and raised in Australia. Keith said he learned to play guitar as a six year old in Australia, when a young woman wanted to place an ad in his Dad's shop. His parents made a deal..to do the advertisement in exchange for lessons for Keith. He was winning talent shows when he was just eight years old. His influences were Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, and Don Williams, along with a deep admiration for the songwriting skills of Jimmy Webb. He made several trips to Nashville, to America in the late 60's. It was then he realized the move must be permanent, to become a star, and a recording artist. Keith was born on October 26th, 1967. Hey Keith, mine is October 27...Way to go...!!!!!This page is dedicated to Little Bear, and Sunshine, and you know who you are. A special thanks to Coco and Alice, for tags and graphics. |
"I Am She" interpreted by the spirit wolf Sungmanitu tanka, who speaks with wisdom |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
I am she, who cares too much.. Allowing the sacred penetration.. Of my warrior, Little Bear.... My life, my only admiration... I am she, who's all to him... Who sees the man, so deep inside His spirit is of the little boy.... A fact he always tries to hide... There's nothing I won't do for him That distant, sacred Indian child.... The spirit of his fathers rise.. With heart untamed, he still runs wild... I am she, who comforts him.. With softened warmth, my soothing hand.. Calms his fears, his aching brow.. And leads him to his native land I am she, when light is gone When clouds above, shed many tears.. I love him deep, I love him strong.. When all the sunshine disappears.. I raise my hands up to the sky And feel the gentle, falling mist Sunshine calls to Little Bear.. Who fills her heart, with happiness I call out to the East and West Where the Father does ascend... I am she who loves him, now....
