"Three Words Away"
Sung By Keith Harling
Susan's Poetry In Motion
New traditionalist country singer Keith Harling was born in Greenwood, South Carolina, and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Influenced by Lefty Frizzel and Keith Whitley.. he built himsetlf a set of drums at age ten, and taught himself to play by mimicking the musicians he watched on television...throughout high school and college. Harling also played bass, trumpet and saxophone in a variety of local rock bands. After a period in Florida, Keith moved back to Chattanooga, There he spent the next seven years honing his writing and performing skills. Finally, in 1996, he signed to MCA Records in their publishing decision as a songwriter, and after playing a showcase, he landed a recording contract just six weeks later. His debut LP "Write It In Stone", followed in 1998.The song tonight is taken from this album. Keith Harling explains his artistry in typical, relaxed understated style."There's nothing new about my voice" he says..."It has a very old sound like Lefty Frizzell or Keith Whitley", but it is connected to a newer sound a bit more hip than the songs of yesteryear. Enjoy this lovely song written by Keith Harling, called "Three Words Away." Goodnight from Sugarfoot. Tags by Coco Farrell.
Love And Waiting
From The Poetry Archives Of Susan Jane Kahon
Waiting by the window, for just for one phone call
Wanting all the right words, before the night does fall
Just a whisper in the phone, that everything's allright
Just a touch of magic, to usher in the night

Life is never easy, when sometimes we're apart
But home is always resting there, deep within my heart
I silently wait, for a few words softly spoken
So I dont have to fear that my heart, may be broken

Now, as the sun sets, and the sky is all aglow
I 'm waiting patiently, for I have nowhere to go
Just you, my sweet darling, I am longing for
I  need your soft footsteps walking in my door

Do I hear your voice? And a solitary knock?
Do I hear your key, trying to open up our lock?
I don't even have to know, exactly where you've been
For with those three little words.. you've come home again
