"Winter's Love" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan J. Kahon |
Amidst the fall of snowflakes, bright The sound of pure love, fills the night Lovers even though apart.. Christmas passion fills their hearts Delicate fingers of snow, do bless The lovers, in their warm caress.. They're hand in hand..on moonlit night Even though, they're out of sight Gentle is the air so cold But ice turns warm, for love, is gold Each snowfake to the ground is lost.. The breath of love, thaws the frost Through time and life, the lovers last Even though the snow falls fast... Each flake disappears and seems to melt With each touch of flesh, that is felt Christmas never, will be blue When love that binds, stays so true The gentle fall of snow, around Signifies the love, they've found..
