| Born January 20, 1965 in Danville, Ky. John Michael Montgomery began playing guitar as a child and started his first band at age 15. In 1991 he was discovered while playing guitar in Lexington, Kemtucky..and was signed to Atlantic Records. The title track from his 1992 debut album "Life's a Dance" became a Top 40 Crossover hit, while "I Love The Way You Love Me" reached number one on the country charts, and sold millions of copies thanks to the success of the Grammy-winning single.."I Swear." This made Montgomery one of the top male stars of the mid-nineties. A self-titled album followed in 1995, while "What I Do Best" came out in 1996. Hi continued to pump out good, clean songs and his consisiency is the main reason Montgomery has sustained a long, successful career. please enjoy this lovely page and this song "An Angel In Your Eyes."
