Long Stemmed white roses, for purity White vows of love, musically.... Friendship becomes love, a sweet destiny.. God seals the vow, eternally.. Love's touch.. first comes from a thought His wife's kiss, is what her husband sought Perfection in love's a treasure not bought He loves her gently, that she has taught. He walks in her beauty, all through the night And basks in her eyes, so clear and so bright He's mellowed to her, in her tender light He vows to always, stay in her sight He swears by the stars in the heavens above All of life's pleasures, to her he will prove The stars, the sun, and the earth will move When he says to her "Come, be my love" And he will fall in love all over again with her, forever... written by Susan Jane kahon May 5, 2004 ICYU 5:50pm Recovered: Sept. 14th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |

This song, "I Will, If You Will" was recorded April 19, 1997 by John Berry. Born in Aiken, South Carolina, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia area, John grew up in an eclectic musical household. His father loved to listen to the pianist Van Cliburn, his mother loved gospel, and his brother became an opera singer. John gravitated to both soul and country music and began his recording career at home in 1979. Two years later John started performing solo acoustic shows in northeast Georgia, building quite a name for himself. As his repution grew, so did the local demand for his self-styled recordings. He made six self-produced albums, with the last one selling over ten thousand copies. He was finally signed to Capitol Records, after moving to Nashville in 1992. When John performs music, he does it with the same fiery intensity that has been as much a part of his success as his voice. He is a master at love songs, and his raw emotional vocals on "Will You Marry Me" has spurred on many people to propose. Please enjoy this song tonight. A beautiful page, that I hope you like and enjoy. A song and a poem of love. |
