Johnny , when you first sang...
Those folk songs that tell a great story
We all knew, a star was born
And you were predestined for glory..

Johnny, your songs live on...
Someday they'll be sung by another
And you'll walk in white in heaven
Embraced by your dear country brothers...

All your friends that have passed on..
I'm sure Waylon was waiting for you
Hank, now will join you in song...
And I'm sure Tex Ritter, will too...

Johnny, we'll miss all your stories
We know that you now "Walk The Line"
You'll play your guitar for the angels
And live on in hearts, like mine...

We Miss You,
Man In Black...
