"My Valentine, My Rose.." |
From the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
I'll hug you in my arms I'll kiss you on the nose And hold you tight and love you You're my valentine, my rose... We can take a walk, and sing in the rain... Or we can take a trip in a fast airplane Or perhaps sample some wine, and I'll bake you a cake Then afterwards, the sweetest love we'll make I am in love, with a man that I adore From the first hello, I just begged for more From the first glance, you were always on my mind I just always knew you were the wonderful kind I will pen a love song.and watch the words flow Of our sweet love, I want everyone to know It was inevitable, I had to take the chance To find my darling, and cultivate romance Love claimed a victim, and I cross my heart I'll never let you go, our love will never part Our two hearts together, play the perfect tune With you beside me, I fly to the moon... Tonight I'll light a candle, put soft sheets on the bed Let the color of our passion, burn the brightest red Staring into eyes, liquid pools of sapphire blue This love I have, my darling,,was meant for only you written by Susan Jane Kahon Wednesday February 12 2003 ICYU 6:52pm God Bless U Recovered: Jan. 26th, 2024 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
