A close personal friend of mine found this old version of "That's The Glory Of Love" sung by the Five Keys It's a great song.. |
Poem is about comparing a rare man to a diamond gem.the many facets..the crystals of light and personality, and the many shimmering moments of love |
A Diamond of a Man |
from the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
You're a diamond of a man The purest love reflected in this world You give such life to this old heart You're a special gem with arms unfurled The diamond reflects many ways Depth and dimension in it's glory Adding character to it's splendor As love tells it's grand old story Embracing you, caressing you The diamond I've wanted to adore Your beauty flowing softly Shining bright...forevermore Iridescent, scattered light Emits from your ecstatic face The brightness of the hue of life Is brought here by God's pure grace I trace your features with my fingers Stopping by your your eyes to feast Upon the sparkle of the glow you have.. Magnificent!!!!the very least Your porcelain vision can't be marred By changing facets in perception Such luster is enhanced by God In his own splendid reflection I'm just a woman, adoring you Comparing you to beauty so rare Your eyes, they shine of warmth And diamond dust is in your hair Written by Susan Jane Kahon August 5 2002 8:54pm IC..U!!!!!!!
