"Fairytale Of Life" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
Don't bring me down the path of pain For I'm well acquainted with it's rules In love, there's such uncertainty.. On the highway of life's fools My journey does continue, now My search for you, is never done.. My fairytale of love is not in vain For my heart tells me, you're the one I know, I understand you so.. And no one loves you like I do My lonely soul will search the world For ways to keep our love brand new In life, and love, I've lost so much And love never happened as I planned So I'm dealing you my deck of cards The Queen of hearts, lies in your hand Like the addict, I am hooked on you I inject you in my veins each night You are the high I seek each day Anything less is just an oversight So is this quest of mine...too real? Or is it simply, my prediction.. That you are my fairytale come true And you are my singular addiction |
