"Where You Can Be Found" |
From The Poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
Are these your weary hands, holding mine? How can I be so blind..as not to see, When you look back at me The softness in your eyes The wonder of that surprise How can it be? This love lays right in front of me... I'm seeing just exactly who you are.. You're like lightning coming from a star A solid dream that may come true.. I'm feeling that from you Now I understand deep emotion... What kind of man holds my heart in the palm of his hand Trembling, yet daring to go on and on Is that your smile, I see? I've been looking at you forever, Have you been looking at me? You're an impulse that will live in my heart forever An impulse that needed to be free To be explored in ecstacy.. Wanting you always, our bodies Needing touch within reality I beg you, come to me... Now my mind and my heart struggles For control, and old feelings are rising again... Memories of our sacred sin And wonders in a deep disquise The quiet secret lying deep within your eyes And if you hear me cry out without a sound.. It's because I love you in my mind That's where you can be found Written lovingly from the heart January 31 2002 ICYU 9:17pm Susan J.
