Formed in Berea, Kentucky, as the Exiles, in 1963, Exile first reached the pop charts in the late seventies, before
changing musical direction and becoming one of the most successful country bands in the 1980's. They toured with the Dick
Clark Caravan Of Stars in 1965 as backup band for artists including Bryan Hyland and Tommy Roe. In the late 60's, they
recorded for Dane Records and Columbia records. They changed their name to Exile, and recorded for ATCO records, and in
1977 had their first chart hit single.Following a switch to Warner Brothers Records, they had a huge hit with this song..

Pennington..keyboard player Buzz Cornelison,vocalist and guitarist Les Taylor, Keyboard player and vocalist Marlon Hargis,
bass player and vocalist Sonny Le Maire, and drummer Steve Goetzman. Pennington and Taylor continue to do road shows,
