"Tiptoe Softly" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
There's been a time when I have wept. When first into my heart, you crept I haven't far to go, it seems To keep you floating in my dreams Tiptoe softly, on the sand... Take me to the pirate's land Hold me captive...love me deep I am your slave, within my sleep.. When you awake, I will be there With fingers tangled in your hair... With kisses swift, upon your head Eager, for your soft, warm bed.... On fire now, I see your eyes I hear your sweet, enchanting cries I'll kiss you once and kiss you twice And turn your fire into ice... Ice that melts when you cut loose.. Revealing love to be the truth.. Have no fear, have no despair You'll always find me in your lair... You make me happy, night and day.. You are my sun, when skies are gray You know we're never far apart.. You're safe and snug, within my heart. written by Susan Jane Kahon Oct. 16 2003 ICYU 4:01pm.
