A Song For a Sunday."Sunday Kind Of Love"-Etta James. |
I wrote this really neat poem awhile back and was looking for a torchy song to go with it. I found it today on a brief search. Here Is "A Sunday Kind Of Love" by Etta James, sung in her traditional style...Please enjoy this song on this Sunday in November, 2002... |

Here It is, late Saturday night And we've been together..all week long.. Sunday morning rolls around, and I'm all alone Baby, I need to feel you around.. I love the way you stay with me.. From night until the early morn.. But Sunday you go and you leave me blue Feeling so lost and forlorn Don't say goodbye on Saturday night Stay with me just one Sunday, please I need you my Darling, always with me Your love brings me down on my knees I need your body, close to mine And I need your kisses...daily, too!!! So stay under the covers this Saturday night Just see ..what Sunday loving can do!!!! You are here, and so am I,too What is that rolling down my sweet cheek? Too much emotion..As deep as it gets... A love that simply consumes me I'll wrap around you so tight you'll want to explode I'm here at your own beck and call... This fire you light is quick to ignite Beby, I'm so afraid, that I'm gonna fall Blissfully, deeply in love with you A love ..only one lifetime is given I'm spellbound with you, we blend so well And melt into our own little heaven So Sunday, I write my poem to you... Stay with me..Please don't go away... I'll make you purr, like the tiger that you are And we'll make Sundays our own special day. Written by Susan Jane Kahon Sunday November 24 12:21pm 2001 ICU!!!!
