Darling, let me tall you what I've heard
There's love in the power of the written word
And even words, we've already spoken
Can keep our chain of love, forever unbroken
Whether words come from our loving lips
Or come from pen and my fingertips
Nothing can break the bond that we share
Nothing can cause us, never to care
The distance between us is only miles
For words keep alive our soft , secret smiles
The stardust in your eyes that I always see
Is a reflection of words, written by me
They say love's best expressed by a kiss
But how can I say that you're always missed?
I pick up my pen, and write out my fears
Only to find that you've shed your own tears
I write now my love, straight from my soul
For I have a mission, and you are my goal
My quest is to capture your heart for my own
So both of us never, will be all alone
How can I tell you, the strong power I hold
With all my sweet words, written in gold
With just a touch, of my words so true
I've opened my heart, to accept only you
I open my mouth to say "I Love You"
But how did I know, you already knew?
My words have reached you, in every poem
