"Tomorrow's Symphony" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
Mine is a soul transformed by melodies There is sweet music that I hear I hear the beat of tomorrow's drums And tomorrow's coming near..... The music soothes my troubled soul Lyrical whispers spoken in the night I'm awakened by the sounds of love Symphonies filled with love's delight A not so distant song I hear..... Yet I am forbidden to have this dance I wait for you to reappear.... To take me in your arms , by chance I cannot wait, until tomorrow... For you have set my soul ablaze I've got to have you now, my love Before the nights turn into days How deeply, is my wanting you... Your eyes stir up such memories But yesterday is gone forever.. And tomorrow's full of mysteries... Oh Darling, make tomorrow come... I've had all my fears in life removed.. No more sleepless shame do I behold For my heart, you've finally soothed You are my tomorrow's symphony written by Susan Jane Kahon May 28 2003 ICYU HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7:37 pm God Bless You!!!!!
