"From A Jack To A King"
Sung By Elvis Presley
Susan's Poetry In Motion
EElvis Aaron Presley was born in the humblest of circumstances to Vernon and Gladys Presley, in a two room house in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935. His twin brother, Jesse Garon died at birth, leaving Elvis to be raised as an only child. he and his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1948, and Elvis graduated from Humes High School there in 1953. Elvis's musical influences were the pop and country of his era, and the gospel music he heard in Church, and the all-night gospel sings he attended at that time, and the black R&B he absorbed while on Beale Street as a Memphis teenager. In 1954 he was signed to Sun Records in Memphis. In late 1955 his contract was sold to RCA Victor. By 1956, he was an international sensation. Elvis was the King. Here is "From A Jack To A King"...performed by the late, great Elvis Presley. Thanks Coco for the great tags on this one.WOW!!! is all I can say. Goodnight all..
The Future's Ours...."
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon
There's loneliness, when one is one..
But together, love shines, like the sun..
You fill a room with brightness, dear..
Your presence felt, when you are near..

A wisp of flesh, is all I am..
A grain of dust amongst the sand..
I see your eyes, both near, and far..
Their light reflects just who you are..

Without your light, what would I be?
You're the life that lives inside of me..
Such happiness your union brings..
I am your Queen, you are my King..

My love, you play your deck of cards
You play your hand, with silent words..
The future, now, I can forsee..
Man and wife, for all...eternity...

The future Hand Of Fate...
