"In America, , The Land Of Liberty" |
From The Poetry collection of Susan Jane kahon |
In America, the land of Liberty I found a man who set me free.. A man with dancing eyes so bright Who turns the darkness into light It's fireworks, each time we kiss And sparklers in my heart exist.. Don't know what I would do without The man whose name I want to shout!!! We'll sit and watch the sky light up While drinking from the loving cup Tonight we'll speak with just a sigh As we watch the fire ...up in the sky And in his hand, there rests my own For we no longer are alone... And now, my heart is open wide For he now lays right by my side... And as we watch exploding light.. Fourth of July, this is the night... And also we will celebrate What's given us, by hand of fate... As the night sky lights up with stars We now know just where we are Our place in destiny is happiness In America's heart...we softly rest written by Susan Jane Kahon July 3 2003 ICYU 9:32pm Recovered: Jan. 9th, 2024 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
