"Without Any Warning" |
From the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
Without any warning As a tornado shakes an old oak tree Love shakes my lonely heart And leaves me, never free... Embedded in my soul Truth, in a glance appears Lips may smile and speak of love But the test of love's... a tear.... One soft tear trickling down Resting on my weary face Love has come into my heart... Leaving only your sweet trace... Oh God, I love you so.. You're so calm, so eleoquent.. You disturb my mind with fantasy Your love's so...innocent.... Come grab my body close Please take this fleeting chance.. Come, ravage me so deeply, Let's begin our lover's dance We dance in silent wanting.. Under cloudy, starry skies.. All that's best of dark, and light Is reflected in our lover's eyes..... written by Susan Jane Kahon August 29 2003 ICYU 8:15 pm Recovered: Sept. 17th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
