"Romeo"
Sung By Dolly Parton and Billy Ray Cyrus
Susan's Poetry In Motion
Billy Ray Cyrus, born William Ray Cyrus on August 25, 1961 in Flat Woods, Kentucky, Billy sang in his father's Gospel quartet before school age. Guitarist/singer Billy Ray Cyrus may never seem to be able to escape all his admiring fans that made him a household word with the hit record, "Achy Breaky Heart".
"Achy Breaky Heart" hit number one single and number four Pop single in 1992. His album "Some Gave All" sold over nine million copies. His good ole boy simplicity and fussy machismo earned him the reputation of being the dumb hunk, which is far from the truth. Billy Ray married Leticia "Tish" on December 28,1993, and they have six children...Christopher, Destiny, Braison, Noah, Beandy, and Trace. Billy Ray continues to tour. Here he is teamed up with Dolly Parton for the fun-loving song "Romeo". Pardon my sense of humor about the romeo for Halloween with the rose in his mouth. Thanks Alice for top graphic.
"Halloween Dream"
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon
Let my heart, be still, now...
Let my heart with you explore..
Let's venture to that lover's place
Where we've often been, before....

Halloween, it comes too soon..
And with it, fall is turning..
Within my lonely heart today
My love for you's still burning...

Ghosts and pumpkins fill the night
And gourds replace the flowers...
Yet our love flows on and on
Through minutes, days, and hours...

You've always been my Romeo,
And I, your pensive, Juliet....
Together we made love so sweet...
But we're not finished, yet....

On Halloween, say your prayers
When you're sitting all alone...
I will come through windows, dark..
When the last fall winds have blown...

And in the world of silent dreams...
When morning's dawn has broken..
I'll be there in your waiting arms
With words of love, unspoken...
