This poem is about one lover not being able to be without the other..and the description of how the feelings flow when the senses act on all of these feelings |
"My Soul Is Naked Without you" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
My soul is naked without you You bring joy to my life, that is true There is emptiness when you are away And bliss when we have time to play I see your naughty grin, when first... You choose to tease me... quench my thirst My joyride is always so complete That I get burned from all of your heat Sometimes we get lost when we're apart When seeking each other's sweet heart Falling down in our complex fashion We give in to Nature's purest passion Mindless in our state of bliss The throbbing of one tender kiss And suddenly all chains are free.... Releasing such sweet ecstacy When you first brought me to this state I wondered if it was the hand of fate Is it only me that feels this way? or do you, too ,feel..that you have to stay What makes our spirits want to mate Before the clock says it's too late Without your love, I'll surely die I'll wilt and wither and wonder why Is it just the elegance of it all? That makes my body want to fall In love with everything you give And make my poor soul want to live Alive, and yet, I run to see The source of what you are to me I leave my heart, now to discover What brought me to my soulful lover Written by Susan Jane Kahon August 17 2002 ICU!!!!! 9:55 PM Recovered: Oct. 5th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
