"Our Love's No Secret" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
Down on green grass, in wild flowers we lay.. I told him "My Darling, This is the day" I took my hands, and stroked his sweet face Then covered him with an honest embrace Through this enticing dream we strolled Waiting for all of our dreams to be told To my sight his blue eyes were all I could see As they softened and blinked, staring at me My Darling, my love, a secret no more As we make sweet love, on Nature's green floor Now that I feel his passionate kiss What better place...for loving, than this.... Through Irish woods we walk holding hands With wonder and awe, in this ancient land We can stay here right now, and whatever life brings Angels will take us, on gossamer wings I see beside us, a soft butterfly Floating through mists, that hide the blue sky We're far, far away from worrisome ways No more problems, or troublesome days Such lovely times, with him I have known When Nature had left us to be on our own As I caress him, I kneel to the ground We're one with the Earth, without any sound Our love's no secret, for Nature does know That all of life's passions between us do flow Pure and refreshed , does my whole being feel For my mind and my heart, my lover did steal.
