I stand here with my dreams in hand
On a strange and distant shore
I cannot see or touch you
But it's still you, that I adore


I know just where you are...
For I still can see your eyes..
I'll just close my own, then
And listen to your sighs....


I stand here on this island
And there's just your love to see
So many times, I've fallen
And you've had to carry me...


Yet still, we are predestined
To live our lives, together
And we have made that promise to ourselves
To love, and stay forever...


No one else can understand us
Because no one else was ever there
They didn't see the strength of love
That is the essence of our love affair


Your eyes, make me want to walk
Through your complicated, loving mind
To look for dreams, elusive... there
That no one else could ever find..
