"I Want A Movie Star Love" |
From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
I Love The idea of love... Precious hours spent together, just you and me The promise of years to come with you... Oh, I wish I had that reality... I want a movie star love.. Just like "In the movies", they say Such eternal bliss, whenever we kiss And that love lasts...from day to day In movies, they know how to stage the scene And every moment makes a difference, they say.. They always know the right things to do Oh, I want you to love me, that way I want to climb every mountain Fight every obstacle that you can see I want my hands to bleed for you Knowing you'd do the same thing for me I want that breathtaking touch That's portrayed in each lovemaking scene With the right scenery to match it In shades of yellow, and blue and green And the soundtrack, of course will be perfect Each beautiful song sung so true And the birds will sing in the background Sweet music that's just meant for you You rescued me from all of life's problems You stopped my poor heart from breaking And yes, it's just like in the movies So irrational and so breathtaking Yes, you're my movie of pure perfection We've started our walking, it's now time to run Together each day we'll play side by side Two lonely souls, who have merged into one written by Susan Jane Kahon December 18 2002 8:50pm ICU Recovered: Oct. 2nd, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
