"Rescue Me Now" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
These padded walls inside my head Try to trap you, but trap me instead It's then I drink in every part of you Remembering each tasty drop, that I knew... Why am I always the lonely one? Why do I always want to go home Why are your arms large enough for two And why am I always dreaming of you? Love is in the warmest of hearts.. It's that place, where all loving starts... I cry so loud, to the heavens above Please give me just one man to love I call for you, and you hear me now For the gift of you is all I allow You are my home, my haven, my trust And all the obstacles are so unjust... If I could break down, you'd really know That I would follow wherever you go I cannot control these feelings inside And you view emotions, that I cannot hide Oh rescue me now, bring me on home For I am not meant to be all alone My eyes are flowing with faceted tears For love is timeless, not measured in years written by Susan Jane Kahon ICYU July 29 2003 7:42pm Recovered: Dec. 26th, 2023 Some Links & Counters may no longer be Active! |
