"Passion In A Poem"
From The Poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon
You are my shrine,.. my life,.. my sun that shines
I fell hard for you..., love being my only serious crime...
I saw your love come in a swift, violent dream,
Now I'm stuck in your personal, passionate stream...

What is the point, to believe in heaven..
When you're here on earth, to me you've been given
My flame burns so bright ..you really cannot believe
How you've captured me.., you're the greatest of thieves...

Just when you thought our love would end
You found all that was needed..was to take a stand..
The flame restarted to illuminate you...
To show you the path to a lost love that was true

Please make me fly high, let me burn with the sun
As you enter my body and we become one..
I didn't want to hide, but now I'm back
You've changed the color of my world , to white from black

I kissed you, from your toes, up to your head
You were the meat, I was the bread
Darling , I gave you,.. yes!!! I gave my all..
Then you turned around, and consumed my very soul

In this lonely blue planet ,you've filled my mind...
It's so blue, I cannot see, for you have made me blind
Promise me always, to be my life's food
So much of you now, infiltrates my blood...

Oh, I have written, in a moment so weak
After I have awoken from the deepest of sleeps
I'll beg for your love, on my hands and knees
Kiss me,now.. and be the poison, that I need....
